Privacy Policy
Hello! If you have clicked here it means you care a lot about your data privacy & GDPR implementations. I want you to feel confident that any information I store is essential to me doing my job and that I won't be bombarding you with junk mail so have a read below to put your mind at rest...
LETS TALK PLAIN....
Legally there are things I have to include here to keep the GDPR police happy but I am aware you won't want to read pages of waffle and legal talk so the bits in pink are a summary of the legal bits below.
What information do you collect from me and how?
Your visit to my site will automatically gives me information such as your IP address, browser type & computer type. This is simply used for me to see how many people are using my site and the most popular devise used. This means I can make my site as easy for you to use as possible and fix any navigation problems people may be having on certain devices.
Your name, email, address and telephone number are only seen by me if you have used my contact page or signed up to my newsletters. I use this information to stay in touch with you. If you email me about one of my photography services I will only use that email to email you back! If there is something related to your wedding like a discount offer I am running I'll possibly email you that too, I'm nice like that. If there's something unrelated to your wedding or session but related to something we had a human conversation about like an awesome florist or brilliant place to buy cake I may also email you. I wouldn't give your email out to anyone else or send you any newsletters. The only information of yours that I will pass on is a phone number to my second shooter, purely so that on the day of your wedding or session if they can't find you they can easily ring you rather than missing out on amazing photo opportunities. I then get them to delete it after the big day.

Cookies
Basically every website you visit talks to your computer. My website asks a lot of questions but I really don't use a lot of the information! I like to see how many people are visiting my site and make sure they have all managed to move round it and find what they want but that is about it. You can turn off cookies in your internet options but this will stop many websites from even working.
A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser. We may use both “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies on the website. We will use the session cookies to: keep track of you whilst you navigate the website. We may use the persistent cookies to enable our website to recognise you when you visit. Session cookies will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies will remain stored on your computer until deleted, or until they reach a specified expiry date. We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. Google will store this information. Google’s privacy policy is available at: http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. Most browsers allow you to reject all cookies, whilst some browsers allow you to reject just third party cookies. For example, in Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, and selecting “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector. Blocking all cookies will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites.
